AIS 2020 Online Exhibition   We heard you!  

Our survey results produced important feedback from our members. Your top request was an online exhibit and we are pleased to announce the dates for our very first AIS Online Exhibition. 

Entries accepted: June 15 - July 15           Notification Date:    August 10

Online exhibit: August 15 - October 1

More details to follow--we are designing this online exhibition using your suggestions from the survey.

  • AIS members may enter up to five artworks.
  • $20 for your first entry and $10 per entry up to a total of five.  So if you enter five works your entry fee is $60.
  • Over $5,000 in prizes.    
  • Artists receive 100% of commission!
  • Artwork does not have to be for sale.
  • All accepted works will be posted online and AIS Facebook pages.
  • Details and entry rules to be announced early May.


Best Impressionist Work/Best of Show: $2,000

First Place for Masters:  $750

First Place for Signature Members:  $750

First Place for Associate Members: $750

Ten Honorable Mentions: $75 for each


"Ned is a very accomplished and highly respected artist, having been drawing and painting for over 70 years.He has been designated as a “Master Artist” with both the Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionist Society.  He is a graduate of the prestigious Art Center School of Design in Los Angeles where as still a student he also taught drawing classes. He has participated in many of the major invitational shows in the country, including the "Artist's of America Show", The American Impressionist Society's Annual Exhibition, “National Academy of Western Art", "Oil Painters of America", "Laguna Plein Air Show", "Pastel Society of America", "The Autry Western Masters Show",  "The Northwest Rendezvous Show" and the annual "Plein Air Painters of America Exhibition. He has shown in some of the Finest Galleries in the country, has won numerous awards and is included in many private fine art collections. He is a Signature member of the  Plein Air Painters of America. California Art Club, Northwest Pastel Society, Puget Sound Group of Northwest Artists, Northwest Rendezvous Group, and the Laguna Plein Air Painters. He continues to challenge himself to grow as an Artist and is asked to jury Regional and National Art Shows. Ned loves to teach and share his many years of knowledge and experience by teaching classes and workshops, regionally, nationally and internationally.”
