American Impressionist Society, also known as AIS, was founded in 1998 as a non profit organization. Four Florida artists formed AIS in honor of their mentor, William J. (Bill) Schultz.  Thanks to the vision of Charlotte M. Dickinson, Marjorie I. Bradley, Pauline S. Ney and William Schultz, AIS has grown to be one of the most respected national art organizations in the country, with over 1,700 members nationwide.

Congratulations to the 185 artists who were juried into our exhibition. We received 1309 entries for considerations by the jurors.  Remember, we have five jurors who score each entry in a blind system.

Our Awards Judge, William Schneider, will see the work at Illume Gallery in October to make his prize selections.

We know it is a tremendous disappointment to those of you whose work did not make it into the show this time. Due to space limitations, there are always many deserving works that are not included.

We are grateful for your AIS membership and your participation in entering our shows each year.
