Memberships are open to American Impressionist artists who are legal United States residents and a minimum of 18 years old. Membership Dues are $65 Annually for the period January through December. Renewals/New Memberships paid on or after October 25th will be valid through December 31st the following year. Your membership record may show you need to pay again in 2024, but don't worry! We will update your record for your membership to be valid through 2024. If you joined BEFORE October 25, 2024 you will need to renew in 2025. We publish a catalog for our National Exhibition. If you join or renew before June 1, your name will be listed in membership. Benefits of membership include:

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
SUPPORTING MEMBERSFor those interested in supporting AIS. Supporting members may attend member events. Supporting members may not enter juried exhibitions or Wet Walls exhibitions at AIS Paint Outs. $50 annually | SIGNATURE MEMBERSAssociate Members who have completed a minimum of three consecutive years as an AIS Associate Member and have been accepted into three AIS National Juried Exhibitions OR two AIS National Juried Exhibitions and two AIS Small Works Showcases may apply for Signature status. Membership in AIS must have been continuous including the years accepted into these juried exhibitions. Acceptance into the AIS Online Exhibitions does not qualify for Signature status. You must use the digital form to apply for Signature status are accepted from October 1-November 15. AIS Signature Members in good standing may:
| MASTER MEMBERSMaster Artist members are invited by the AIS Board of Directors and may use the initials "AISM" after their name. AIS Masters serve as Awards Judges, offer workshops and participate in educational programs. |
