AIS Critique Services

Are you a Signature Member who would like to provide a critique? Email us today! 

AIS will continue to provide critiques at our in person exhibitions for Small Works and National Juried Exhibition.

AIS will introduce a new Critique Program in 2025!  We have closed critiques and will reopen in early 2025. 

All current AIS members may request a critique of up to five paintings. Fee for critique is $30. An AIS Signature Member will provide a written critique of the images.

How does it work?

• You will sign up for a critique.  Sign up!
• Upon receipt of your $30, AIS will match you with a Signature member. Allow up to two weeks for your match.

• You will receive a link to upload your images.

• The Signature Member will have two weeks to review and critique your artwork.

You will receive feedback on:

• Concept
• Composition
• Color and value relationship
• Intent
• Technique
• Overall impressionistic quality of your work
