"Saints at Devil's Gate: Landscapes Along the Mormon Trail"
Exhibition tour and lecture by John Burton, Bryan Mark Taylor and Josh Clare, Church History Museum, Salt Lake City. Museum tour, lecture, and breakfast sponsored by Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine (free for AIS members, $15 for each guest)

AIS Opening Reception & Awards Presentation
Montgomery- Lee Fine Art - 5 to 9pm - Free and open to the public.

Friday, Sept 29th 
Unless otherwise noted, AIS members - Free, non members/guests - $15. (RSVPs required)
Held at Montgomery Lee Fine Art

10am to noon:
Panel discussion group, featuring John Burton, Olga Krimon, Howard Friedland AIS, Shanna Kunz and Debra Joy Groesser, AIS CEO/President. Moderated by AIS Education Director Vanessa Rothe. A variety of topics will be discussed. 

1 to 2:30 pm:
"History of Oil Color" Lecture by Joe Gyurcsak, AIS Signature Member and Blick Resident Artist/Utrecht Brand Manager. 

3 to 5pm:
Group demo featuring Susan Blackwood AIS (watercolor), Doreen St John AIS (pastel), Michele Usibelli AIS (oil/acrylic), and Ken Spencer (oil)

5 to 6pm:
Happy Hour Cocktail reception sponsored by American Art Collector (Open to AIS Members and one guest only)

6 to 8pm:
Albert Handell, AIS Master and Judge of Awards, painting demo (Free and open to the public)

Saturday, Sept 30th: 

All Member Paintout
 
All Member Paintout with breakfast, lunch and closing party sponsored by Southwest Art Magazine. Location and time TBA. Breakfast and lunch provided for AIS Members only.
(RSVP required.) 

Closing party open to AIS members and one guest. (RSVP required.)
