A Day of Color Play with Anne Blair Brown AISM

In this color-focused 1-day workshop, Anne will show you various ways to mix and apply color that will make the light sing and the shadows dance! Good color mixing takes practice but is easily achievable. Harmony, balance, capturing that elusive sense of light…it’s all within your grasp! Anne will also go deep into methods for loose brushwork, expressive mark-making, and painting in a more painterly style. You will leave with new insight on how colors work together and how swift application of paint changes everything.

$150 tuition. $200 for non-members. No supplies needed.

3-4pm Group Q&A/Discussion in the afternoon

The workshop will be held at The Emporium at 100 S. Gay Street, Knoxville.

Cancellation policy: AIS will refund 80% of fee up to 15 days prior to workshop date. No refund after March 27, 2023 for this workshop.
