Two Day OIl Painting Workshop

Location: Boulder School of Fine Art
This workshop is an event during the Opening Week of 23rd Annual AIS National Juried Exhibition held at Mary Williams Fine Arts in Boulder.
Class Description:
During this class you will learn techniques for painting the figure quickly and accurately.
Starting with setting up your palette, we will proceed with a simple block-in of the figure, concentrating on gesture.
In conclusion, we will then paint the figure in context with the scene, with the goal of establishing a narrative. We will have a live model
Each day will be spent working quickly, understanding and identifying the big relationships within your paintings, and, most of all, keeping it simple.
If AIS cancels, students are given a full refund. AIS will offer a partial refund of 90% of fee if students need to cancel for any reason.
