AIS MastersScroll down to view our current AIS Master Members. Masters are selected carefully and are nationally known and considered to be leaders in the art community. They epitomize the highest level of impressionism and passionately give back to the society by sharing their knowledge.
The AIS Master Membership level is an honor reserved for highly qualified members and shall not be bestowed lightly. To qualify to submit an application for this level of membership an artist must first have demonstrated that he/she consistently paints at a high level of mastery, is a Signature member in good standing, and is willing to contribute to the organization in a volunteer capacity and serve as a goodwill ambassador to the organization. AIS will accept applications for new Master Members starting September 12, 2025. Applications due October 13, 2025. DOWNLOAD APPLICATION The minimum requirements for a Master Member include: 10 years of consecutive AIS membership, a current AIS Signature Member and acceptance in 9 AIS National Exhibitions OR 7 AIS National Exhibitions and 4 AIS Small Works Exhibitions. We changed membership platforms in 2017 so if you did not keep your membership record prior to 2017, you can check the 2016 National Catalog for the list of members.
