A Lineage Of Color

Kami Mendlik is an oil painter and founder of the St Croix River School of Painting in Stillwater, Minnesota, where she teaches the fundamentals of representational painting with a special emphasis on color.

Kami Mendlik will outline the artistic lineage of color that began by the French Impressionists and still influences the modern painting world today.  Through a slide show presentation, she will visually walk you through how the French Impressionist’s movement in color has rippled through and influenced to today.
